Design Week 2020 took place at the Design Center located in Chelsea Harbour. From 8-13 of March, the Design Center received amazing masters from the Interior Design World, creating the perfect scenario to inspire both: exhibitors and visitors.
The ambiance was cool and we could see a biophilic design all around. Many stores opened its doors with new windows to show; new collections to present and some news to showcase.

Exhibitors – Design Week 2020
Exhibitors gave their best performance to introduce to Interior Design Community its newest collections and a touch of what the future of design could be. Design Week 2020 had 120 showrooms and 600 international brands cohabiting this same space for 7 days. We could see an inspiring environment going on; interior design excellence going further.

Visitors – Design Week 2020
On the other hand, the visitors seemed to be enjoying the experience. Actually, this was a good opportunity for Interior Designers and other professionals from this field to get in touch with some of the best brands in the market. Expose their needs and desires; talk about the next projects to come along this year and make new contacts.
Many brands had some kits showing what´s new! You could see some of the visitors with these awesome bags going around the Design Center.
Beyond the great stores that are usually at the Design Center, we could find some new exhibitors at the rooftop corridors.

The Conferences – Design Week 2020
This year, as usual, the Design Week in London presented a bunch of interesting talks with speakers from the industry. We counted with James Lohan from Mr & Mrs. Smith who said: “The revolution has gone from being very chintzy to design that is very considered”.
Besides the great conferences, you were able to speak and reach a lot of people in this field. Connect and talk with people was one of the must-do activities programmed for the week. Be amazed by all the news presented as well, for sure!
Covet London (the show flat) – Design Week 2020
This week was amazing; connecting with new people, discovering new brands and being able to see some of the best brands in the market was unspeakable. The best way to start a new quarter and be inspired trhough the process.
While I was there I discovered that one of the brands I have been following for a while has a showroom nearby; just a few meters from the Design Center in Chelsea Harbour.
I reached the brand and booked an appointment to see the show flat and all the products they have showcased there. Well, let me tell you it was worth my time.
Brabbu has a lot of products presented their; from upholstery to center tables and lighting. Also, I had the chance to meet their other brands.
Rug´Society was the brand that impressed us most, the colors and the textures! So, lovely.
If you are working in London and have a new project I advise you to book an appointment and stop by; you may be surprised (in a good way)!
