James advocates the professionalism of the interior design industry and has made many public appearance on the topic. His study in interior design, art, architecture and fashion is a life-long passion. He continues to travel to Europe each year to source and learn about new product designs, materials and processes. He studied in a Bachelor of Arts (Interior Architecture).
James Dawson is a multi award-winning interior designer. He is the Principal of a Brisbane-based design practice, James Dawson Interiors. James’ inspired love of Avant-garde details, offset by an Australian simplicity; creates unique, elegant and unexpected interiors for private residences, commercial restaurants, bars and retail stores. James’ reputation in the design industry has seen him win a number of awards including most recently for 2014 winning the Australian Interior Design Award for Best of State Queensland- Residential Design.
