Blainey North was a just a teenager when she realised that she wanted to embrace the interior design world. Blainey´s art teacher asked her if she had considered architecture as a profession and she said that she had only ever drawn buildings and had never portrayed an actual person. Since then, Blainey has used her talent to head-up one of Sydney’s most sought-after architecture practices and founded Blainey North & Associates, which is one of the most innovative interior design companies.
Eye for detail is everything in design and Blainey North has a unique admiration for the use of details and materials. She also usually gathers new design ideas from one of a kind perspectives of the environment that surrounds her. Nature is one of Blainey North major inspirations.

Despite being focused at doing interiors at five-star hotels, Blainey North & Associates has also designed a select number of high-end residences for special clients. Keeping her busy currently is the interior design of one of the tallest commercial towers in Sydney.
Blainey North design signature is focused at ensuring that every project is treated like a couture garment, with a rigour and repetition in the detail that is able to elevate and challenge ideas. Most importantly Blainey North wants her work to be beautiful and unique. Blainey North strives to ensure that her projects have passion and energy in the process of design as well as in the outcome.
