Hello everyone, so today let’s talk about music! I just found out that this week is Spotify second anniversary in Australia, they started in May 2012, and since then we have streamed an immense 8,200 years worth of music. To celebrate they released which artists are currently the most listened to by us? Can you try to guess wich one’s made it? Cause if you think that names like Coldplay or Katy Perry made the top five, you are wrong. As it turns out we do love our homegrown talent, like Flume. That’s right, Flume, aka Harley Streten, is officially the most streamed Spotify artist.
Flume is a 22-year-old Sydneysider who produced his first album, in his bedroom, and already won the ARIA award four times.
Another name that is on the top’s, Vance Joy, who won most streamed track with Riptide, Matt Corby, Bliss N Eso and The Temper Trap have also proved popular, rounding out the top 5 Local Artists. Well and if you enjoy music, and would like to hear the same, here is the top 10, enjoy!
