Light grey kitchens are here to stay and one of my favourite paint colours for kitchen cabinets. It works beautifully with any kind of light and it’s very soothing. I truly can’t see anyone getting tired of it. Another reason to paint your cabinets in that colour? It looks astounding with white marble!

There’s nothing boring in this living room, which is quite refreshing. The elm coffee table is surrounded with seating in all shades of blue and you can find plenty of texture, from the white brick fireplace to the plank walls and sisal rug. The draperies were hung three feet above the windows to make them feel balanced with the 20-foot ceiling.
Why limit yourself with colour when you can live with this much happiness?
